Hi there! I am a mental health counselor with a master's degree from Adler University. I completed my bachelor's degree at Tufts University in Boston, with a focus in English and Classics. My clinical interests center around the power of stories to impact a person's life and the world around them, both the stories we tell ourselves and the stories others tell us. I primarily have experience working with clients who have complex trauma, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and OCD.
Reaching out to a therapist is one of the most vulnerable things you can do. One of the easiest things I can do to honor the vulnerability you've already shown is to treat you with empathy, compassion, and understanding that you are the expert in your own life - not me. Your goals for therapy set the course and we travel it together, with unconditional acceptance and nonjudgmental attitude.
As a queer-identified person, I am a strong advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community. I also believe that we are all storytellers at heart, and I primarily make use of narrative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and internal family systems therapy (IFS) in counseling treatment. My approach centers you as the expert, and I ensure that the therapeutic process is comfortable and collaborative. I hope we can connect to help you in your journey forward.
