In-network:
An in-network provider has a contract with your insurance company allowing you to use health insurance to help pay for your appointment.
Out-of-network:
An out-of-network provider does not accept your health insurance. You may still see them, pay the self-pay rate and receive a superbill. You can use the superbill to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. We may also be able to submit the claims on your behalf.
Deductible:
The amount of money you will pay out-of-pocket for health care before your insurance benefits start. Some plans have very high deductibles before benefits begin, please contact us if this applies to you and we can see how we can support.
Co-pay:
A co-pay is a set amount of money you may owe for a visit.
Co-insurance:
Co-insurance is a percentage of the total amount that you may owe for a visit.
The costs per session (counseling or psychotherapy) that are billed to your insurance are from $175 - $200. However, the contracted rates and what you would owe depends on your deductible, copays/coinsurance, as well as the provider you are working with. We can help you obtain this information when you call.
Late Cancel/No-Show fees are a based on the rate billed for the session. Insurance does not cover the cost of late cancel fees.
