Anthony Guerrero
Associate Director of Development
Hello! I am a current graduate student at the University of Illinois at Chicago, pursuing my Master's in Public Health (my second masters! OH MY! Someone stop me) I got my Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2014 and my Master's in Health Communication in 2018, both from Northwestern University. I am originally from Mexico City, and have been in the Chicagoland area since 2010.
Having been raised across two countries and cultures, I am always present to the experience that culture has in determining your health and wellbeing. I am passionate about the health and wellbeing of Latine, LGBTQ+ and immigrant communities and am a fierce advocate for health equity, with specific attention to mental health, sexual and reproductive health, and access to safety network social services. I have worked in various non-profit organizations in the Chicagoland area and have significant experience in public health program design and implementation, program management, health communications, health policy, community engagement and mobilization, and program development and fund management. I am excited to bring my skill set to grow the work at Arcus and support access to mental health services in Chicago.
