Telehealth at Arcus
With the unfortunate rise of COVID-19, many of us are adapting to radically different life circumstances than we had envisioned for 2020. Whether social distancing, self-isolating, or quarantined, we are all having to learn how to connect with others remotely. Luckily, there are more options than ever for keeping in touch with friends and loved ones, but even with regular use of these services it can be hard not to feel disconnected. And with our usual routines and structures disrupted, we might even feel disconnected from ourselves and how to spend our time in meaningful ways.
To accommodate our clients during this uniquely challenging time, Arcus is now offering telehealth sessions for new and current clients. Telehealth sessions are remote sessions over the internet which allow for both video and audio communication. This makes it possible for us to continue serving our clients as best we can while doing our part to minimize the risk of exposure and illness. Insurance companies have also recognized the need for this service and have been expanding coverage for telehealth, however we do recommend that clients call their insurance company and confirm that telehealth sessions will be covered before their first appointment.
Our telehealth platform is easy and straightforward to use: all you need to do is click a link and your session will load on your device, no special apps or programs required.
